What does TwoRoots Ingredients do?
TwoRoots is a food ingredients distribution partner connecting ingredient suppliers with food & beverage manufacturers in the German market. For suppliers, we open up market access and manage the customer relationship; for customers, we source, qualify and deliver the right ingredient.
What markets do you primarily serve?
Our focus is the German market, with growing activity across other European markets.

What we offer
What products do you offer?
Our current range spans fruit-based ingredients (date, fig, prune, raisin, apricot, chicory and beet) available as juice concentrate, puree or syrup, at various Brix levels, in both conventional and organic quality; clean-label sugar reduction solutions; and natural food colours. This isn't the limit of what we can source. We're continuously adding new suppliers and products to our range.
Do you offer organic ingredients?
Yes. Organic versions are available across most of our product range.
Do you offer Kosher-certified products?
Yes, most of our suppliers' products are available with Kosher certification. Availability varies by SKU, so please confirm with your product specialist for your specific requirement.
What applications do your ingredients work in?
Our ingredients are used in bakery fillings, granola and snack bars, spreads, plant-based products, confectionery, beverages and as flavour compounds, including sugar-reduction and clean-label applications such as replacing added sugar with date syrup. Get in touch with your product specialist for requirements specific to your application.
Where are your ingredients sourced from?
We work with a network of international suppliers and processing partners across Europe (including Italy, Spain and Germany) and other origins, and we source and qualify based on your application needs. We're actively expanding our supplier base, so if you don't see what you're looking for, get in touch. We may already be sourcing it, or can find it.
What certifications do you and your suppliers hold?
Certifications vary by product and supplier, but most of our suppliers carry recognised standards such as ISO, BRC, IFS, HACCP, Halal, Kosher and non-GMO. Holding these certifications and demonstrating strong supply-chain security is part of how we select suppliers for our portfolio.
Getting product from us
Can I request a sample?
Yes. Reach out via our contact form or directly to your account contact and we'll arrange a sample. Typical sizes range from small lab quantities to 250 ml / 2 kg trial samples, depending on your evaluation needs.
What packaging and pack sizes are available?
Depending on the product, we offer packaging from 20–25 kg bag-in-box or sacks, 270 kg drums, 1,000–1,400 kg IBCs, and big bags, with bulk options available for larger volumes.
What is your minimum order quantity?
MOQ varies by product, but in most cases it's one full pallet or roughly 1,000 kg.
What are your typical lead times?
Lead times vary by product and packaging, but are roughly 2–3 weeks from order confirmation.
How do I get a quote?

Documentation & supply security
Do you provide technical / regulatory documentation?
Yes. We can provide spec sheets and regulatory information to support your product documentation and compliance needs.
Do you sign NDAs before sharing detailed specs or pricing?
Yes, we're happy to put an NDA in place before sharing sensitive product, pricing or formulation details.
Do you offer dual or backup sourcing for critical ingredients?
Yes. For select ingredients we can set up dual-sourcing arrangements to protect your supply continuity. Ask your account contact whether this applies to your product.
